A pink shade of red
The flagship Rome store of fashion brand REDValentino has been given a dreamy girly makeover in shades of pink with a polkadot floor. Somehow it just works!
Paris-based architect and designer, India Mahdavi has excelled herself in this project for REDValentino somehow combining sweet girly hues of powder puff rose, glass, brass and gold without becoming gauche or tacky. The interior really is testament to India's design ability and it's easy to see why she is so highly regarded in the architecture world.
The design is brought together by a stunning polkadot floor sharing muted pink and gold hues to bring the interior palette together. It also adds a sense of girly playfulness while somehow remaining elegant and combined with the curved and padded surfaces gives a wonderful retro feel that we just love.
