Sunny Todd Prints comes with GoodWeave Approval

GoodWeave is dedicated to ending child labour and improving the lives of children across South Asia. Originally founded in India in 1994, the NFP organisation certifies rug makers throughout South Asia, so far the programme has rescued over 3,000 children from working on looms and prevented thousands more from entering factories. An ethical cause indeed and one that FLOOR_STORY is delighted to become a part of, not only with the certification of our Sunny Todd Prints rugs but also with our new status as as GoodWeave Importer licensee.

When we approached Sunny and Emma about our collaboration, we both agreed that becoming part of GoodWeave would be a fantastic way to officially show that our rugs are created with best intentions at heart. Beautiful design should be synonymous with a responsibility to protect and care for future generations after all. As the freshest rugs in our catalogue, Sunny Todd Prints are the first FLOOR_STORY designs to bear the GoodWeave label. After numerous visits to our makers in India,we are confident that they do their best to protect their workers and that they provide the best possible woking conditions, safety, trainingand afair wage. We are working with them to ensure that soon all our rugs can bear the GoodWeave seal of approval.
