FLOCK NURTURES THE BEST OF NEW BRITISH DESIGN, WORKING WITH ARTISTS, DESIGNERS AND BRANDS TO CRAFT BEAUTIFUL INTERIOR TEXTILES.

Since 2013, Flock has been pioneering fierce British design, famed for bold and colourful geometric fabrics. Built with the belief of nurturing talent the studio has worked with graduates, designers and artists from the partnership of Touching Elbows to collaborations with Métier and Sunny Todd Prints.

“When developing designs, I’ve rolled fabrics onto the floor to get a sense of scale and pattern and often thought how they’d be amazing as rugs,” says Jenny Wingfield, creative director, Flock.

Working through Flock’s extraordinary collection of fabrics, Jenny and FLOOR_STORY director Simon eventually settled on Northmore, one of the studio’s kaleidoscopic designs in a multicolour palette, confident that it would create a show-stopping rug. Immediately they knew it had to be something really rather remarkable, a truly luxurious finish.

Hand-knotted in 100-knots per inch Tibetan weave, Northmore is one of the finest available in the Designer Collection. Made with pure Chinese silk and premium New Zealand wool, featuring an astounding 26 yarn colours, this rug is something special.

Northmore Tonal

To Celebrate 10 years of rug collaborations, we’ve launched a new tonal colourway of the original Northmore design by FLOCK. This version of the original features tonal colours of nudes and beiges with subtle accents of orange and green with a shiny finish. Transforming the original design into a fresh new palette elevates the level of detail in the hand knotted shapes and how they overlap and intersect.

Northmore Tonal exudes cutting edge design and provides a complimentary textural piece to enhance a space. The transition from the original into a warmer palette with subtle earthy tones has transformed the feeling that a design evokes purely through colour.
